The St. John s International Women s Film & Video Festival committee will reach out and build a festival component specifically for 1997, to be premiered at the festival in the fall of the Cabot year. This event will provide local and visiting audiences with an exciting movie experience drawing on films from the Atlantic Rim Countries. The festival offers potential representation of women filmmakers from up to eighteen countries. It is a prime opportunity as well to showcase the province's own talented filmmaking community.
