Our aim is to guide you towards your optimal health and fitness, however it applies to your lifestyle. We help you set and attain safe and realistic goals through specific and individualized techniques which match your physical abilities, interests and schedule.

In-Form is the first Medical Exercise Specialist company in Newfoundland to be certified with the American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals, as well as with the Canadian Personal Trainers Network, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and with the American Council on Exercise. We strive to give you quality service with the most up-to-date information possible in this often confusing and rapidly changing scientific field.

Our clients can be anyone, from homemakers, to seniors, to business persons, to competitive athletes. What our clients have in common is a desire to improve their own physical fitness and health. We specialize in post-rehabilative exercise programs and this may be covered by your insurance. Talk to your insurance representative.

With a structured workout prepared in advance for you, your exercise can become a focused and efficient break from the rest of your day that can benefit your health more than you might have thought possible.

And this is at your time. Do you work out before going to the office, during the day when the kids are at school, or in the evening after supper? Whatever your schedule, we're available for you.

NO PAIN, NO GAIN?

For so long the catch phrase for all training, this doesn't apply anymore. True, to improve you have to put effort into your training, but pain is a sign your body gives you when you are doing damage to it. We'll help you determine your exercise intensity and show you how to minimize the risk of injury. If you're already injured, we'll work with you to bring back as much of that old form as possible.

One of the hardest things about exercising is sticking to your program. We realize that on some days it's hard to get out into the rain and cold to do your scheduled workout. We'll make it easier. You can trust us to be punctual and there for you to help get you moving.

We come to you. If you work out at home, at the pool, on the track, or in the gym, we'll meet you where you'll be doing your thing. The program we'll be working on is for you, so you decide where we go.

We're familiar with most of the sport and exercise facilities in the city, and since it is often intimidating to begin a program in a strange environment, we can guide you so that you'll feel comfortable and can concentrate on your workout.

IS IT EXPENSIVE?

It's not as expensive as you might think. A one hour session with us is less expensive than an hour with a massage therapist, and pretty much on par with what you would expect to pay for physiotherapy. Our base rate is $40 per hour, but may be less depending on your needs. We also have special rates for groups so contact us to find out exactly what your rate would be for your specific needs.

The development of exercise programs may be separate from or in conjunction with your exercise sessions, so the fee for your program can vary greatly. This may depend on the length of time covered by your program, the type and complexity of the activities that you'll be involved in, and the detail required to meet your requirements. Talk to us to get an estimate on a program for you.


We work on your goals. We test you to determine your potential, we listen to what it is that you want to achieve, and then together we'll endeavor to attain those goals with a specifically tailored program.
