Jerome Brennan is one of Newfoundland's most qualified persons in the field of exercise and sport. He's spent most of his life working in this area, both as a high level competitive athlete, and as a coach and trainer. In addition to his Degree in Physical Education from Memorial University in St. John's, he holds the following qualifications:
    • Certified Medical Exercise Specialist with American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals
    • Certified Fitness Consultant with Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology
    • Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Personal Trainers Network
    • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association
    • Level III Coach for Cycling with the Coaching Association of Canada
    • Level II Technical Course Conductor with C.A.C.
He is currently working on his NCCP Level IV Coaching Certification, and is the Head Coach for the Provincial Canada Games Cycling Team, which through his guidance has become the most competitive team that Newfoundland has ever produced.

As a competitive road cyclist, Jerome won numerous national level races while training in Quebec, and still races in the elite category in Mountain Biking, though his commitment to personal training and coaching cuts into his training time.

Jerome's background and experience has made him well respected (and well known) in the province as an authority in fitness theory and training. He's worked with people ranging from those who are just starting with a simple home exercise program to serious competitive athletes, with a high degree of success. It's Jerome's expertise and reputation that are the backbone of In-Form Medical Exercise Specialists.

Fedor Steer brings to In-Form the structure and support that every business needs. Aside from assisting Jerome with the personal training, he handles the day to day management, administration, accounting, marketing and all those other miscellaneous issues and activities of In-Form that need addressing.

Fedor has an extensive background in sport as well. Originally a competitive swimmer, he now throws himself into the occasional triathlon or cycling road race to keep himself in shape. He's still involved with swimming as a coach for the St. John's Masters Swim Club and for the St. John's Legends competitive swim club. He holds the following qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Exercise Specialist with American Academy of Health and Fitness Professionals
  • Certified Fitness Consultant with Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology
  • Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise
  • Provincially Certified Weight Training Instructor
  • Level III Coach for Swimming with the Coaching Association of Canada
  • Level I Technical Course Conductor for Swimming with C.A.C.
He is currently working on his NCCP Level IV Swim Coaching certification, and is also working towards a second university degree that will upgrade his knowledge of physiology and kinesiology through the University of Waterloo.

The administrative skills that Fedor possesses were learned by spending quite a few years as a Navigation Officer and a Fleet Operations Administrator with the Canadian Coast Guard. The computer skills came from those days in the government too, plus some time spent afterwards as a computer consultant. The government days ended when he realized that it was a good time to get out and spend his time applying his skills to the things which he truly loved in the first place, fitness and exercise.

Working together, Jerome and Fedor have formed a great team to fulfill the needs of their clients. Their skills and experience complement each other well so that the client receives the maximum attention that they need, without any of the distractions that they don't need. In-Form realizes that keeping in shape can be hard enough as it is, so the client wants the whole process to be as trouble free and effective as possible. Jerome and Fedor hold current First Aid and CPR certifications for your safety.

There is no better way to go than with the services of In-Form.
