Stan Hill, Jr.

Stan Hill, Jr., a self-taught carver of Tuscarora and Mohawk descent, has developed his own persoanl style based on traditional Indian legend and striking contemporary imagery. He continues the family tradition passed on by his father, one of Canada's best-known

bone carvers. Stan combines a respect for his heritage with
an awareness of the present to create his striking repertoire
of images.
