Newfoundland students enrolled in the eastern Newfoundland School Board District's, along with all youth in schools and youth organizations around the world, have an opportunity to win a trip to HAWAII with this great contest. Prizes are also awarded at all levels leading to the GRAND PRIZE. Organized by Lions Clubs International and sponsored by the Lions Clubs of District 41-S2, the contest is an international event promoting peace. International PEACE is one of the main aims of Lions Clubs International. Lions promote peace by serving where service is needed all over the world. An original work of art is created by students, between 11 and 13 years of age on January 10, 2000. The Entry Fee is paid by the Lions Club in your community when they purchase the PEACE POSTER KIT, from Club Supply. The International Peace Poster Contest encourages young people Entries will be judged in three categories: When judging is completed at all levels there will be PRINCIPALS, TEACHERS AND YOUTH GROUP LEADERS
CAN CONTACT THEIR LOCAL LIONS CLUB TO OBTAIN THE SPONSORSHIP KIT REQUIRED TO ENTER THIS EXCITING COMPETITION.
