Bottle Drive for Diabetes Cavalcade

The Leo Club held a bottle drive in support of the diabetes association. The money will be donated to the diabetes association at their anual diabetes association cavalcade taking place June 13th, 2004. The Club all met at the local lions club, and broke up into groups to take on the streets of the Goulds.

The club did way better then expected, they managed to collect well over 200 dozen beer bottles, as well as wine bottles, assorted liquer and wine cooler bottles, and a few bags of recycleables. They did all this despite the fact that there were two other community groups collecting bottles at the same time that night.
