Producers Market

The Burin Peninsula Producers Market takes place in Grand Bank every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There are two sites for the market - the main one is the former United Church school grounds on Main Street, with an alternate site in poor weather at the historic Samuel J. Harris Building located on Water Street. The market was started to allow the smaller producers a chance to sell their products without having to own or sell through a store, and so encourage home-based industry. Visit the marke t to sample the crafts, farm produce and seafood available in the area.
